SPARTA is a non-profit organization with the mission of advancing Research and Therapy for children with severe autism from under-served, rural communities. Autism prevalence is an issue that requires further study in the USA and around the world, however, it is believed to be growing in rural areas and cities alike at an alarming rate.
Some children have access to resources and services for therapy, and others do not have such luck. Founder Dr. Lafasakis and other dedicated researchers have been studying autism for years and believe SPARTA's initiative can help these children.
We are now providing therapy to families and children here in the USA, and in rural Crete, Greece. Our goal is to create a model that can be used in under served communities where services and resources are hard or impossible to find and afford.
We have helped over 250 families find support and helped their children find activities and programs that help them grow.
This is all thanks to the support we have received from corporate and individual donors. We could not do this without you!
