This nest is home to a pair of Bald Eagles at the Welaka National Fish Hatchery. The eagles featured have been monitored by the hatchery for the past three seasons, this is the first season we will get to see them live on the cams!
The eagles are currently unnamed and they have raised 6 eaglets together.
This nest has 2 cameras installed in a longleaf pine tree. The cameras were installed in the summer of 2020 after the Eagle Pair relocated to this nest.
They have an alternate nest that was abandon in 2019 about a 1/2 mile away that the pair shared for 3 years, raising 4 eaglets.
