Julian, Calif. - September 9, 2025 - HDOnTap, in partnership with Julian Cabins, has launched a new live webcam streaming real-time views from Cuyamaca Mountain. The 4K Ultra HD camera faces west toward the Pacific, providing a daily look at weather patterns, mountain scenery, and visibility over San Diego County.

Perched at elevation in the Cuyamaca Mountains near Julian, the fixed-position camera captures dramatic seasonal weather shifts — from rolling fog and storm fronts to sunny skies stretching across the ridges. The feed provides both locals and weather enthusiasts with a window into changing mountain conditions.
“We’re excited to bring viewers this high-definition view from Cuyamaca Mountain,” said Tim Sears, founder of HDOnTap. “Whether you’re planning a trip, checking conditions, or simply enjoying the beauty of San Diego’s backcountry, this cam delivers a stunning perspective in real time.”
Julian Cabins, a longtime lodging option for visitors to the mountain town of Julian, partnered on the project to showcase the region’s natural beauty and enhance visitor awareness of current conditions.
