Live from Captiva Island: Bald Eagles Begin a New Season
In partnership with Window to Wildlife .
Captiva, Florida, November 17, 2025, HDOnTap, in partnership with Window to Wildlife, announces the launch of a live streaming camera focused on the nesting activities of bald eagles Connie (female) and Clive (male) on Captiva Island.
Viewers can tune in to see these resilient birds as they rebuild their nest following storm damage, lay eggs, hatch eaglets and raise their young in real time. The single camera provides a clear elevated view of the nest, allowing wildlife fans to follow daily behaviors from incubation through fledging.
“Our goal is to bring the wonder of nature live into people’s homes while supporting the conservation of these remarkable birds,” said Tim Sears, President and Founder of HDOnTap.
The camera system features PTZ control, audio and infrared night vision. Mounted directly above the nest, it provides dependable views through changing weather and light conditions. Window to Wildlife, one of the early U.S. specialists in bird of prey camera systems, installed and supports the equipment.
