New HDOnTap Cam Brings Homer’s Night Skies & Wildlife to Viewers Worldwide

Homer, Alaska — November 27, 2025 — HDOnTap, in partnership with the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, announces the launch of the “Homer Alaska Northern Lights Live Cam,” now streaming live from Homer, Alaska.
The new 1440p live-streaming camera offers viewers real-time access to Homer’s night skies — including shimmering auroras, moonlit snowfields and starlit panoramas — along with daytime wildlife sightings and weather views. The camera is mounted to a deck, giving sweeping scenes of the Alaskan landscape in all its seasonal moods. Its PTZ capabilities and starlight-sensitive night vision give viewers a crisp, immersive look at both nocturnal skies and daytime habitat activity.
