In partnership with Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources .
Richmond, Va. — March 20, 2026 — HDOnTap, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, announces the start of peregrine falcon nesting season on the Richmond Virginia Peregrine Falcon Live Cam, giving viewers a real-time look at one of the world’s fastest birds as eggs and early nest activity take center stage.
Located in a nest box in downtown Richmond, the live cam offers an up-close view of peregrine falcon nesting behavior during one of the most closely watched times of year. Viewers can follow activity at the nest as the adults tend eggs, defend the site and prepare for the arrival of hatchlings in the weeks ahead.
The Richmond Virginia Peregrine Falcon Live Cam features 4K resolution, infrared night vision and audio, helping viewers follow the season day and night. The camera’s perspective inside the nest box delivers a detailed look at incubation and other nesting behavior that would otherwise be difficult to observe in an urban setting.
“Peregrine falcons are one of the most exciting birds to watch, and this camera gives viewers a rare chance to follow the season from the very start,”
— Tim Sears, President and Founder, HDOnTap
Set in downtown Richmond, the nest box offers a unique blend of urban wildlife viewing and close-up nest observation. For birders, educators and wildlife fans, the stream provides a front-row seat to the season as it unfolds, from eggs to hatchlings and beyond.
Viewers are encouraged to tune in now while nesting activity is underway. With eggs already in the nest and the season moving quickly, the live stream offers a limited-time opportunity to watch these remarkable birds before young falcons grow and leave the nest box.
