Upgraded to Ultra HD: Tennessee Elk Live Webcam Now Streaming With Enhanced Clarity
In partnership with Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency .
Morley, Tennessee — January 14, 2026 — HDOnTap, in partnership with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), announces an upgraded viewing experience for the Tennessee Elk Live Webcam, delivering sharper Ultra HD visuals and an improved way to watch elk activity in the Cumberland Plateau region.
The live stream offers a high-resolution look at elk as they move through open habitat—grazing, resting, and gathering in groups as conditions change throughout the day. With PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) capability, viewers can take in wide meadow scenes and closer looks when elk venture nearer, making it easier to spot herd movement and behavior in greater detail.
The upgraded feed is designed for anytime viewing, including low-light hours. The camera also supports audio, adding another layer of immersion for wildlife watchers following the stream from home, classrooms, or on the go.
“This upgrade brings viewers closer to the elk with a noticeably clearer picture and a more engaging live experience,”
— Tim Sears, President & Founder, HDOnTap
TWRA’s elk restoration work has helped reestablish elk in Tennessee after more than a century, and the camera provides a real-time window into that ongoing conservation story. The TWRA live elk camera is associated with the Hatfield Knob area at North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area, where elk viewing has become a popular way for the public to connect with the herd.
