Welcome to the HDOnTap Rewards Program – our way of thanking you for helping grow the HDOnTap community and bringing more eyes to the live cams you love. We’re starting with sharing-based points, and more ways to earn points are coming soon (beyond sharing).

1. Who Can Participate

To earn Rewards Points:

  • You must have an account on HDOnTap.com.
  • You must be logged in when you share or interact with Rewards features.

If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one for free in just a few seconds.

2. Why We Created the Rewards Program

One of the biggest challenges we face is helping new viewers discover HDOnTap’s live webcams. The Rewards Program was created to:

  • Reward you for sharing the streams and snapshots you already enjoy.
  • Grow viewership organically through real people, real shares, and real recommendations.
  • Increase visibility & SEO by generating more high-quality links back to HDOnTap.com.
  • Support our partners & wildlife/live cam projects by driving more engagement to their streams.

When you share, you’re not just earning points—you’re helping support cams, hosts, conservation partners, and future installs.

3. How to Earn Rewards Points

You can earn points in two primary ways today, with more earning features coming soon:

A. Snapshot Shares

Earn points when you share snapshots from HDOnTap live streams.

Snapshot Share Intent Points

  • Click a social share button or the “Copy Link” button on a snapshot image.
  • Each eligible click = 1 Snapshot Share Intent Point.
  • Maximum of 3 Snapshot Share Intent Points per day from snapshot sharing.

Snapshot Share Click Points

  • When someone clicks your shared snapshot link and visits HDOnTap:
    • You earn 2 Snapshot Share Click Points per eligible click.
  • Maximum of 100 Snapshot Share Click Points per day from snapshot sharing.

B. Live Stream Page Shares

Earn points when you share HDOnTap live stream pages.

Live Stream Share Intent Points

  • Click the “SHARE” button below a live stream player.
  • Use any of the social buttons or the “Copy Link” button in the share pop-up.
  • Each eligible click = 1 Live Stream Share Intent Point.

Live Stream Share Click Points

  • When someone clicks your shared live stream page link and visits HDOnTap:
    • You earn 3 Live Stream Share Click Points per eligible click.
  • Maximum of 150 Live Stream Share Click Points per day from live stream sharing.

Note: Daily maximums for Snapshot and Live Stream Click Points are tracked separately.

4. What Counts as an Eligible Click?

To keep the Rewards Program fair and meaningful, only eligible clicks earn Click Points. In general:

Eligible clicks are:

  • From real visitors (non-bot / non-automated traffic).
  • From unique users who actually load the HDOnTap page.
  • Within reasonable limits per user/device.

Clicks may not be counted if they appear to be:

  • Generated by bots, scripts, click farms, or automated tools.
  • Repeated rapid self-clicking or refreshing your own links.
  • Traffic from deceptive, misleading, or spammy placements.

HDOnTap reserves the right to determine eligibility using internal analytics and fraud detection systems.

5. Your Rewards Dashboard

Your Rewards Dashboard is where you track everything.

How to access it:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to your HDOnTap account.
  2. Click your username in the top-right corner of the site.
  3. Select “Rewards Dashboard” from the menu.

From your dashboard, you’ll be able to:

  • See which snapshots and live stream pages you’ve shared.
  • View click activity generated from your shared links.
  • Track your Rewards Points balance.
  • Redeem your points for rewards (see below).

6. Redeeming Your Rewards Points

Use your points to upgrade your viewing experience or snag HDOnTap gear.

Available Rewards

  • 1 Week of Premium (Ad-Free) Viewing – 150 Points
  • 2 Weeks of Premium (Ad-Free) Viewing – 275 Points
  • 1 Month of Premium (Ad-Free) Viewing – 500 Points
  • HDOnTap Short Sleeve T-Shirt – 3,500 Points
  • HDOnTap Trucker Hat – 4,000 Points

All redemptions are managed directly through your Rewards Dashboard.

Notes:

  • Premium status activations take effect on your HDOnTap account only and cannot be transferred.
  • Physical merchandise availability, styles, and shipping options may vary and may be subject to regional limitations.

7. Program Guidelines & Fair Use

To keep the Rewards Program fun and fair for everyone:

  • No spamming. Please don’t post your links in misleading, abusive, or unwanted ways.
  • No buying or selling points. Points have no cash value and may not be sold or traded.
  • No gaming the system. Automated traffic, fake accounts, VPN farms, or other fraudulent methods to collect clicks or points are strictly prohibited.
  • One primary account per person. Creating multiple accounts to earn additional rewards is not allowed.

If suspicious activity is detected, HDOnTap may adjust point totals, suspend participation, or close accounts at our discretion.

8. Points Expiration & Changes

To help maintain a healthy program:

  • Points may expire after a period of inactivity on your account (for example, 12 months without earning or redeeming points).
  • HDOnTap may occasionally update available rewards, required point amounts, or earning rules.

9. Privacy & Data

We track Rewards activity using our internal analytics systems so we can:

  • Attribute clicks to the correct user.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Accurately calculate your Rewards Points.

Your data is handled in accordance with the HDOnTap Privacy Policy. Participation in the Rewards Program constitutes your agreement to this tracking for program purposes.

10. Official Terms & Right to Amend

HDOnTap reserves the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the HDOnTap Rewards Program (in whole or in part) at any time.
  • Change how points are earned or redeemed, including point values, caps, and reward options.
  • Withhold or revoke points and/or rewards in cases of suspected abuse, violation of these guidelines, or violation of HDOnTap’s Terms of Use.

While we don’t anticipate major changes, this is a growing program and we may refine it over time as we learn what works best for our community.

11. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I need a paid account to earn Rewards Points?
No. Any free HDOnTap account can participate as long as you’re logged in.

Do my own clicks on my shared links count?
No. Self-clicks, rapid refreshes, or other suspicious patterns generally do not qualify. The Rewards Program is designed to reward real, unique visitors you bring to HDOnTap.

Is there a limit to how many points I can earn per day?
Yes. Snapshot Share Click Points are capped at 100/day, and Live Stream Share Click Points are capped at 150/day. Intent Point limits also apply as outlined above.

Can I have multiple accounts to earn more points?
No. Each person should use one primary account. Creating or using multiple accounts to gain extra points is not allowed and may result in loss of points or account suspension.

Do points expire?
Points may expire after an extended period of inactivity or if the program rules change. We’ll keep the current policy updated on this page.

Can I convert my points to cash?
No. Points have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money.

How will I know if my clicks or points look suspicious?
If we detect unusual or fraudulent activity, we may pause earning, remove invalid points, or contact you for clarification. Our goal is to keep the program fair and fun.

Can rewards or point values change over time?
Yes. We may update reward options, point costs, or earning rules as we refine the program. Any significant changes will be updated here.

Who do I contact if I think my points are wrong?
If something doesn’t look right in your Rewards Dashboard, please reach out via HDOnTap support and we’ll review your account.

12. More Ways to Earn (Coming Soon)

We’re expanding beyond sharing. As we roll out new features, you’ll be able to earn Rewards Points for additional community-friendly actions, such as:

  • Watch streaks & session milestones (e.g., consistent daily viewing)
  • Live chat milestones (e.g., constructive participation, badges)
  • Helpful contributions (e.g., stream highlights, accurate captions, approved FAQs)
  • Community moderation assists (invited contributors)
  • Partner & host referrals (when applicable)
