The nest, located at Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, has been home to Ospreys for the past 7-8 years. While it’s unclear if the current nesting pair are the original occupants, this site continues to be a bustling hub of Osprey activity.

About the Ospreys
Ospreys, often referred to as fish hawks due to their diet consisting of 99% fish, are abundant and distinctive large raptors that herald the arrival of springtime in Cape Cod. Found on every continent except Antarctica, Osprey pairs typically mate for life, returning annually to their nest to add sticks and soft materials, fortifying it for the new season.
