Hermosa Beach is a beachfront city in Los Angeles County. The quintessential SoCal beach town of Hermosa Beach has nearly 2 miles of beach along the pacific ocean, one of the most popular beaches for locals and tourists in Los Angeles. Between Redondo Beach to the South and Manhattan Beach to the North, Hermosa Beach is frequented by tourists, professional or amateur volleyball players and surfers. Surfing is a large part of this little LA beach town's history, culture and heritage. Hermosa Beach is known as the original birthplace of surfing in California. Along the Hermosa Beach Pier is the Surfers Walk of Fame, which honors local surf legends with a bronze plaque embedded along the pier.

This camera is located at the corner of Pier Ave and The Strand walkway. The PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera view pans back and forth from just south of the Hermosa Beach Pier along the beach to the right with views of the volleyball courts and stops with the view of the Rodondo Jetty breakwall.
